Campus Christian Fellowship Logo Design

CCF Logo Varieties

These logo designs were intended for the campus ministry at Appalachian State University, but have not been implemented yet at this time. The first logo is a simplified logo, while the second one is meant to be a more iconic graphic. The third logo was intended for T-shirt designs.

The logo’s text is meant to be simple and professional, yet attractive and approachable. The second logo’s graphic utilizes the “Campus” piece of the organization’s name by featuring famous landmarks from the Appalachian State University’s campus. The “Christian” piece of the name is represented by the easily-recognizable cross on the right side of the logo. The third logo adds a playful splatter-paint element suitable for T-shirts.

These designs were created in Adobe Illustrator.

Grace Kelly Street Art

Grace Kelly Street Art

This design was used as a stencil for a piece of street art which was placed painted in the tunnel at Appalachian State University, in which street art is encouraged.

The design is based off of a famous photograph of actress Grace Kelly, but was restyled in order to create a stark black-vs.-white image. The stencil was printed upon many separate pieces of printer paper, and then applied to 12 regular-sized poster boards, 6 taped together for a black stencil and 6 taped together for a white stencil. The design was then cut out of the poster boards with an x-acto knife. The stencils were then taken to the tunnel, and the first was pasted to the wall, on which white spray-paint was applied. This stencil was removed and then the next stencil was pasted up, on which black spray-paint was applied. This stencil was then removed, revealing the final design.

This design was created in Adobe Illustrator.

“Barnum” Musical Logo

Barnum Musical Logo

This design was used as a logo for posters, T-Shirts, and playbills for the musical production, Barnum, as a part of the Summer Enrichment Program of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools. The musical was performed at Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem.

The logo utilizes colors featured within the songs and set of the musical, as well as Western-styled typography, meant to evoke the time period of the early 20th century, in which the musical is set. The main figure represents the titular protagonist, P.T. Barnum, and it strives to emulate his movement and playful mannerisms.

This logo was designed with Adobe Illustrator.

This T-shirt was designed for and sold at Career Center High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The design utilizes college-style typography which presents a sense of unity for the school, which is composed of many varied departments. The design on the back of the shirt features the skyline of the city in which the school resides. As the school had just moved to its present location in downtown Winston-Salem at the time of this shirt’s printing, the skyline of the city had just become deeply intertwined with the school’s future developments.

This T-shirt was designed using Adobe Illustrator.

iTunes Gift Card Design

iTunes Gift Card

This project was an exercise in package design– specifically, designing a gift card and its packaging- which was, in this case, for iTunes music.

The design was obviously created to take advantage of Apple’s iconic logo graphic. The design focuses on a Snow-White -esque character holding a bright red fruit, in the shape of Apple’s logo. The design capitalizes on its audience’s knowledge of fairy tales, which evokes a sense of creativity and child-like amusement in its audience.

The art was designed in Adobe Illustrator and the layout was managed in Adobe InDesign.
